River’s Bend Retreat is set against a gorgeous backdrop of mountains with the river in the backyard. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our three-generation family vacation. It was comfortable during the first part of our stay, but by the end of the week the temperature was in the 80’s and 90’s and the portable fans could not keep the house comfortable. Other than that, we had a lovely time at this place. We’d love to return in the fall or spring!

Couldn't have had a better time catching trout with my two boys, ages 5&7, while my wife and teenage daughter cooked in the kitchen and enjoyed drinks on the porch watching us reel them in and splash through the river! Was a great house and very clean. It also had plenty of good dishes, utensils etc to make it easy for us to cook meals everyday. We will be back asap :)

We enjoyed a very nice week at the River's Bend Retreat. Two retired couples for the whole week, joined by two more younger ones for a couple of days. Great days on the stream - it's awfully nice to have a place you can get on for just a couple of hours at a time without having to 'make a day of it'. Great location. Nice fall weather. Wildlife all around. Enjoyable throughout. The owner's obviously take great pride in their home and have it well stocked and equipped for the guests. Definitely recommended and probably a spot for a return visit.

Beautiful home and property! The perfect Montana experience for my friends & family. Lots of space in the home for people to relax. Loved the heated floors. Comfortable beds. Easy access to the airport & Bozeman. Would definitely stay at the property again in the future.

The home was spacious and accommodating. The Gallatin was steps away. Deer wandered by and drank from the river. Bozeman and ski resorts close. Beautiful house, reasonably priced.

Back to Bozeman to meet 6 other college friends and enjoy a long weekend of football, fly fishing, hiking and evening card games. your place was just right. Had everything we needed! clean comfortable ... perfect for our group!

A Great Place

We were 4 middle aged guys on a yearly fishing trip. We have stayed in all sorts of places on trips over the years but this was the best set up by far. Plenty of room, a great back porch and grill for steaks and margaritas in the evening. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the Mountain Home folks were awesome.

The River Bend Retreat was wonderful! I used the house as a staging ground for my wedding (we got married in Bozeman and had the reception just a few miles away at the Big Yellow Barn). It was very easy to book through Mountain Home Vacation Rentals and they answered all my questions prior to our stay. Finding and getting into the house was easy using the app provided. The house itself was beautiful and spacious--a perfect place to prep for all of our wedding events. It was large enough for the bridal party to all stay in one spot, making communication much easier. The kitchen was well stocked and everyone slept well in the beds. The whole experience was great, but the best part was waking up to sunrise on the river! Beautiful!
