A Peaceful Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was secluded yet still a somewhat close drive to Yellowstone. We woke up to deer and elk the first morning, and had a black bear walk from behind the designated parking area to the trail while we ate breakfast. It was fascinating to see it, but made us very bear aware. The kids loved playing the games provided. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to prepare the food we brought. We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful time at this property. Upon arrival we were greeted by a herd of elk! The property is clean, well maintained, has great views, and is situated in a secluded area. I do recommend to anyone visiting the property to have a vehicle that is AWD or has a 4WD option. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful home away from home

This place was so peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed our time at this home which was perfect for my family and parents. Ideal location near Yellowstone (even though it was closed). The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the family. Sitting outside on the patio, you could hear the breeze through the pines which was soothing. We saw a ton of elk, deer, and feathered friends while staying here. The only drawback was the road up to the house which was rough, windy, and narrow. Once you were at the house however it was wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't get motion sick heading up the road.

Gorgeous mountain getaway!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful mountain home! The views of the surrounding property were breathtaking. We enjoyed early morning sunrise hikes as well as being greeted by mule deer each morning. The home was fully equipped for us to feed our family in addition to helpful items such as coolers for daytrips and bug and bear spray for our hikes. I would recommend four wheel drive for the road leading up to the house. It was a tad challenging during rainy days. We were very happy we chose this home for our trip!

Beautiful, comfortable home on a lovely piece of property

We loved staying at this beautiful home during a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park! The only down side to the property (and it's minor) is the drive up, which is a trifle steep in places, but nothing our minivan couldn't handle (four-wheel-drive vehicles would do even better). The property on which the house is located is so pretty and very isolated, in a good way; there was beautiful silence and nice mountain breezes, and we were greeted by deer or elk pretty much every day. The house is extremely comfortable and was very clean, with all the amenities we could wish for. We had plans to be up and out early every day, but the house and its surroundings were so comfortable and fun that we ended up hanging out for lots of leisurely mornings, not leaving until noon or 1 p.m. It was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed the drive along the river to Yellowstone every day! We'd definitely stay here again and loved our experience.

A very pleasant stay in a picturesque setting

This home was a great choice for our family vacation! We were looking for a place with a comfortable kitchen/dining area and plenty of space for 7-9 adults. The amenities were wonderful and I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was! The house was clean and in order, and even had some books about MT plantlife/history/etc. The roads up to the property were a bit rough, but...it's the mountains. We had a great stay and would definitely book again.
